Hampton City Schools reports on Silcox author visit

Doing Justice to Ida B. Wells

Wells was an activist  journalist challenging racism and sexism in the early 1890s whose work has largely been unrecognized.  This crusader for justice will be honored with a monument in Chicago where she lived and worked after her presses were destroyed in Memphis…
