Our “Collaborate for Powerful Teaching and Learning in History and Language Arts” session drew attendees from around the country at the Phoenix conference for school librarians. They learned how Virginia teachers and librarians are working together to provide engaging learning opportunities for students. They tried out strategies of “zoom-in inquiry” and “question formulation technique.” For lesson plans and activities look on this website under Teacher Resources. Many thanks to my co-presenter Linda Mitchell (@LindaMitchell)and other Virginia educators whose strategies we shared.
It was an awesome conference!
