Following my presentation about the 1939 Alexandria Library sit-in, 175 7th graders at New Ulm (MN) Middle School asked wide-ranging and thoughtful questions. They asked about what motivated Samuel Tucker to organize the sit-in and thought about what they could do to make a difference in their world.
